Question: 2008 Impala. Back door locks stopped working. Should I replace the actuators or look at something else before replacing them?
Answer: Those actuators are very common to go bad on your Chevy Impala. I would suspect that one of them was weak and not working properly for a while before the other started acting up. And now you notice they are both not working. I would just go ahead and replace them both. We do not have any common wiring problem that would effect both rears doors.
Question: 2007 Trailblaer has random shaking felt throughout the car(not just the steering wheel) at around 60mph. Stop the vehicle and get back on the road it's gone. May be months between episodes. My mechanic has looked the front end of twice in a year and cannot find anything. Any clues?
With a vibration that comes and goes over months, I cant see any way a mechanic is going to find that problem. If pulling over on the road makes it go away, then it cannot be a tires, wheel, axle, u-joint or anything like that. I could not even guess at what it could be.
Question: Just replaced a FPR. Now my car is stalling before it starts what can
this be 2005 Chevy impala 3400 v6.
If replacing the fuel presure regulator caused this new problem, then it may be a bad regulator. Check that it is not leaking into the vacuum hose. Depending on how much you took apart to replaced it, you may have a vacuum leak. Check this link for proper fuel pressure regulator replacement
