Ford Mustang Engine Disassembled
We have now disassembled the engine down to the engine block. See pics below.

In the first picture, we have removed the cylinder heads, water pump, front timing
cover and timing chain, intake manifold and all brackets.

The second picture shows the removal of the piston and rod assemblies. The
engine is turned over on the stand the gain access to the bottom end of the engine.

Below: Bottom end.
Engine is turned over to view the crankshaft still installed with the main and
rod bearing caps installed. We will first remove the rod bearing caps and slide the piston
and rod assemblies out though the top of the motor. We can do this because the
cylinder heads have been removed.
