Chevy Monte Carlo Low Tire Pressure Code C1245

2004 Chevy Monte Carlo 3.8L. Warning lights = low Tire Pressure Computer codes C1245. Repairs for this problem = Nothing filled tires to 30 PSi still have low pressure light have tried to clear code with Genesis EVO. Light stays off for seconds after clearing code and resets. What can i do to clear c1245 code?

Answer:
On the Monte Carlo, you have to clear the Tire Pressure Monitor light through the factory radio. If you do not have the factory radio installed, you will never be able to get rid of that light. If you do still have the factory radio in the car, you need to follow a few steps.

First, with the key in the 'on' position and the radio off, depress the DISP button and hold until you see a menu come up. Scroll through the menu with the seek buttons until you find 'Tire Pressure Monitor'.

Hit the preset 1 button and you will see 'RESET' on the display, then hit the DISP button again and it will reset the light. Scroll back through the menu until you see 'EXIT' show up and then hit the DISP button one more time. Done!
