Wiper transmission assembly under cowl panel on
driver side. If your wipers will not park when you
shut them off, a common problem (especially in the
winter) is that the park mechanism stop tab is bent.
1- Park mechanism stop tab.
It must be straight, and not ruined like this one.
2- Park mechanism removed.
Wipers won't park down

Repairs made = new washer pumps and new switch
Question = my windshield washer pump just wont work im on my 4th pump and i
replaced the switch but i cant get it to prime or pump acts like its working all the arms
seem fine but wont pump.
Answer: If you're sure the pump is good, and the switch is good, there are only two
things that can keep it from working properly. You either have a wiring problem
between the switch and the pump, or there is a restriction in the water line from the
pump to the nozzles. If you can hear the pump run when you turn the switch on, then
you know the wiring is ok and you most likely have some blockage or kink in the hose
somewhere. If you can't hear the pump run when you power it up, there has to be
either a bad ground, a broken wire, or a short somewhere in the circuit. This would
require tracing the entire wiring circuit to find the problem.
