Checking hoses is easy. Just squeeze hose from one end to the next. Feel for any
soft spots. Hoses are prone to getting soft spots near the component they attach.
Also check closely where a hose looks to be near a bracket or wiring harness.
When the engine moves under acceleration, a hose can rub on something that
seems not to be rubbing while the engine is at rest. Don't forget to check for
wetness on the underside that you cant see.
Use a cooling system pressure tester if you can for those hard to find leaks. Or
have a professional check it for you.
