Unread post by dennislamb » Tue Jul 12, 2016 12:40 pm

1992 dodge Dakota 3.9 just stopped while driving. New coil, new crank sensor and cam sensor. I'm not getting NO power to coil or fuel pump.

the dark green and orange wire powers up almost everything to get your truck running.

Check your ASD relay and see if it's sending the voltage out. Battery voltage should come from the red and white and the relay should send it out on the dark green and orange wire.

the wiper does not work with a delay

Unread post by cross398 » Sun Jun 10, 2018 6:32 am

Hello!!!
Dodge Grand Caravan 2000 3.0L
the wiper does not work with a delay.

When turn on in the first position, the windscreen wiper works once. Then it starts working when turn on the fast position.
But it does not work with a pause.
Washer Switch replaced a new one.

before you get into diagnosing the wiper circuits and body control module, check you wiper relays. just switch them with another relay that is the same like the headlight relay. switch the headlight relay with one of the wiper relays and check to see if intermittent works. If it still doesn't work replace that wiper relay and put the headlight relay in place of the other wiper relay. If the intermittent works with a different relay in either position just get a new relay.

if the intermittent wipers don't work with a different relay in either relay position you are going to have to check if you are getting the correct signal to the BCM or if the bcm is sending the correct signal out to the wiper motor.

Valve springs

I’ve replaced the lifters and camshaft and am putting the motor back together. I put the rocker arms and rods in but when I spin the motor manually the springs do not compress.

make, model, year and engine...
does your engine use hydraulic lifters? did you soak them in oil to fill them up prior to the install?

what does your engine use to build up oil pressure? you may have to prime the oil system to get the lifters pumped up.

need more information
