1997 cadillac deville northstar v-8
I have a cadillac with a bad heater motor and i cant remove it without rolling the motor no room is there a trick or tool?

Yes, there is a special tools that ratchets the engine forward. Or you can use a large pry bar or even have someone brake torque the engine when in reverse gear- but can be dangerous.
Cadillac Deville electrical problem
2003 deville, a/c blower, headlights and windshield wipers stopped working all at the same time. I ordered a new body control module, but it didn't help. Any suggestions?

check your under hood fuse panel to make sure you have power to fuse ACCY and WSW with the key in the on position. we are picking one circuit to trace that is easy to check for power from the ignition switch.
01 Cad Fuel Gauge
My 01 Cad Deville's fuel gauge goes whacky when it shows below half tank. I replaced old shocks with new thinking the car was not level. It didn't solve problem. Is there a sensor that needs replaced?

there are a few things to consider on a fuel gauge not working right. The sender in the tank, the gauge in the dash and the circuit that completes the system.
you should use a scanner and see if it has a fuel level PID. You would have to see what that reading shows when the gauge is acting up. You might be able to graph the fuel sender and see if the sender is erratic of if is steady but the gauge is not correct. the sender uses the purple wire (pin 72 connector2) and the black wire (pin 13 connector2) at the powertrain control module (PCM). The PCM then sends the information to the Instrument Control Panel to move the stepper motor for the fuel gauge.
I have seen where the sender goes bad or has a poor connection cause problems. I have seen where the stepper motor for the fuel gauge goes bad. Since yours seems to only act up below a half tank it sounds like the sender. But, weirder things have happened.
The "level" of the tank shouldn't make that much difference or making corners and going up and down hills would cause the gauge to not be very accurate.

Fuel pump
When i first start my truck an take off it runs great then after a few miles it starts acting as if its running out of gas. When i press the gas pedal it starts getting worse then it will completely shut off. Ill have to wait a few hours to get it to start back up?

there are a couple of things to look at. Maybe more but start off with these two.
1. fuel pressure. what is happening with the fuel pump pressure? Is the fuel pressure dropping off as the car is driven? If the fuel pressure stay strong and steady then look at something else. If the fuel pressure is dropping off and turning off, it could be a fuel pump or a fuel filter plugged up problem (or fuel pump sock)
2. what is the computer seeing as the engine comes up to normal operating temperature? when the engine is cold the computer richens up the fuel mixture. as the engine temp warms the computer lowers the a/f mixture and uses sensors to tell the computer to figure the fuel mix. Coolant temp and O2 sensors really make a difference here. could be too lean or could be flooding. running it with a scanner looking at the engine PIDS will tell you what the computer is working with
