ok, first you have to give me the details. what happens when you turn the key to the start position? does the starter relay make a big click? does the starter solenoid make a big click? does the starter turn the engine over at all? if it does crank the engine, does it sound normal?

do you have good clean connections at the battery? do you have a good connection to the engine ground? do you have a test light and/or a dvom?

double check your battery connections or check your battery. it sounds like you aren't getting enough amp through to the starter

if you can manually turn the engine over it shouldn't be a problem for the starter to spin the engine with the battery. starter draw should be maybe 200-350 start up amps but run 100-200 cranking. Only a couple of things will make it crank over slowly. Too much drag on the motor, bad starter or not enough amp from the battery to the starter. If you can turn the engine over manually, it shouldn't be too much drag. If you put in a new starter it shouldn't be a bad starter (shouldn't be but even new starters are sometimes bad). That leaves not getting juice to the starter.

can you check your battery before you go out and buy another one? Or try jumping it?

If there is no ABS light on, I would suspect that your master cylinder is bypassing the seal for the master cylinder piston.
