Chrysler over heating parts replaced

Unread post by rtann47 » Fri Mar 28, 2014 2:30 pm

87 Chrysler town and country over heating.
I know the list as to why a car may over heat is very long. I have in the last year replaced the rad and hoses put in a new thermostat BUT still it over heats. While driving it today the car over heated going into the red. I turned the heater up full and very cold air came instead of hot. My ? is could my car need a new fan or maybe a water pump?

If you have no heat in the cab and your engine is overheating than your coolant level is low or you have an airlock in the system. You may have an internal engine problem. I do not guarantee any repairs on an engine that has been overheated as the possibility of internal damage is very high. I recommend having it inspected by a professional.
