1996 dodge van keeps blowing a brake fuse

I have a 1996 dodge van 2500 series
I need to know why the fuse keeps blowing
When I push the brake pedal down

does your van have a trailer hitch and wiring for a trailer? Many times there could be a problem with the wiring for the trailer. Fuse #15 a 20A fuse in your fuse panel goes to the brake switch and then to the multifunction switch via a pink/drk blue wire to the switch and white/tan wire to the multifunction switch.

you could take out the fuse and use a jumper with a light bulb in it's place. if you have a short to ground the test bulb will light up when you press the brake pedal. Remove the two rear brake light bulbs from the lenses and there should no longer be a ground connection. If the light bulb jumper still lights up check for a short to ground in the wiring.

where can I get a specific diagram of the fuse box of what fuses control what for a 2009 dodge grand caravan?

doesn't the fuse box cover have a fuse legend in the inside?
most of the time you look for the circuit that has a problem so it may be harder to find a diagram for the fuse box as a whole
