vehicle not starting due too driving thru puddle of water

I drove my 2001 town and country tru a puddle of water and it stop working. What could be the problem?

Was if a big puddle.....did u get water in your intake? If u did it will end up in a cylinder and cause it to seize up....ie. hydro lock .....you cannot compress water. Air is compressable hence compression but water will not and your engine will lock up. If u try and start it will it crank over or just click. If it just clicks take the spark plugs out and crank it over a few times to blow the water out of the cylinder. If you see water coming out of the spark plug hole you hydro locked it! Sometimes you will bend a valve or have major damage. Put some oil down each plug hole and do a compression test. If it cranks over fine you probably have an electrical/sensor issue.
