abs light after 20 mph

abs light after 20 mph

on my 2008 chy sebring my abs light comes on after i reach 20 mph.why is that so?

Something's obviously wrong when it reaches that speed. Could be losing one or more wheel speed signals, or have a module or wiring problem. Your best bet would be to get the vehicle scanned for any ABS codes. That at least would give a starting point as to where the problem might be.

sorry let me say i have no functioning brakes until i hit 20 mph and my abs light comes on. why mit that be so?

So you have no brakes at all until you reach 20mph??? You probably shouldn't be driving that vehicle at all! What if you have to try and stop somewhere between 0-20mph? A problem like this needs first hand action. You need to get it to a shop immediately.
