Broken solder is a common problem on a lot of Dodge and Chrysler instrument panels around that year. It can be anything from the backlighting circuit not working, to the warning light or gauges.

If you are sure there are no breaks, then the cluster is bad and will need to be replaced. There are several companies that will send you an exchange- already repaired unit at a much less cost than new.

A new unit from chrysler can cost up to almost $800 depending on the model.
