put new rotatar&wires&plugs on,started up,it flooded itself out, tried to pop the clutch to go,didnt happen, let it sit, attempts to turn it over, and over, but acted like it was out of gas but plenty of gas in it. im not a mechanic, mechanic boogied, so ive got to figure out why it isnt starting. if i could watch a step by step video or get step by step instructions like a check list ?

okay, first thing is, how was it running before you did any of this work?

I see the wires and plugs parts but I am not sure about your rotor... ? Do you mean rotor? Or distributor cap and rotor?

Are you sure you got the firing order correct on the cap?

If the engine hasn't been running for a while even before you did the work I would try to find out if you have a timing belt problem or a compression problem.

Something else you could check is if you have spark coming out of the distributor cap.

I guess step one would be check for spark.

1. spark out of the distributor cap.
2. firing order on wires out of the cap.
3. if those things are normal then verify compression and/or timing belt turning cam.
4. Fuel, either gas in the tank or fuel out of the injectors (volume and pressure)

firing order is 1-3-4-2 I found a diagram of firing order on the cap

let me know if you need more help on how to check the different things.
