Intermittent cold air or warm air when not needed
Toyota Highlander 2005 AWD 6 cyl. During winter intermittent cold air, during summer intermittent warm air come up. Working solution turn the nub one direction or another. Driving over a bump brings the cold air also. What could be the cause?
Re: Intermittent cold air or warm air when not needed
You might want to start by checking the connections on the back of the HVAC control head. Also check connection on the temp actuator. Normally, a problem like this is usually a bad control head or actuator, but since it seems intermittent and acts up over bumps, it may be a wiring problem.

Re: my toyota corolla steering rack makes a clunking noise
Check the end play of the inner tie rod ends. With the wheels lifted off the ground there shouldn't be any noticeable movement. You're just looking for end play. you only have to use your finger tips and feel for any free movement at all. If the inner tie rods are ok, check how much play you have between the rack gear and the pinion gear. you should look at the u-joint for the steering column. look for any loose movement in the u-joint operation.
noise when hitting slight bumps while driving slowly is related to the sway bar link pins and sway bar frame bushings a lot of times.

Toyota heater motor fuses
Were are are all the fuses for the heater motor located on a 1985 Toyota Camry le ?
Re: heatet motor
according to the wiring diagram, you have a fusible link that goes to the heater circuit breaker. from there it goes to the heater relay.
you have a 'gauge' fuse 7.5A to the relay too.
you have two wires to the heater blower motor. one blue and red and the other just blue. with the key on turn the fan switch where it would normally on. check the blue and red wire for power. if you don't have power look at the relay, circuit breaker and fusible link. If it does have power check to see if you are getting the ground signal from the switch and blower resistor

Camry 09, V6, 2gr U660E Transmission Swap
Hi, guys. I need your help. I am an auto engineer, and am considering if it is possible to swap a u660e auto 6speed with a 5speed u151e auto. I have researched alot about the u151e auto. It cn fit perfectly on my camry spider 2gr engine. But am concerned about the ECU and engine wire harnesses. Do I need to replaced the ECU and harness to the u151e trnsmisson type? The U660e ato has being problematic to me. Pls....help me.
Re: Camry 09, V6, 2gr U660E Transmission Swap
Personally, I would never change what came with the car if I planned to continue to drive it on the street. But for those who do change stuff around, check with a wrecking yard or a transmission shop about the possibility of a tranny swap. They should be able to help you with what can be changed and what it might take to make it work together with the OE equipment.
why don't you just get another trans that's made for the car? This way everything will work correctly and you won't have to change a bunch of stuff over and see if it will do what you want it to do...

Re: Camry 09, V6, 2gr U660E Transmission Swap
Thanks Carriedi for the advice. I know that trans is gonna fit on to the bellhousing of the car, I may still have to modify the ECU controlled throttle body to a drive by wire one. You know what? I have seem that U151E mounted on 2008 FWD Toyota Siennas 2gr engines.
I would appreciate if you could link me up with any forum that does stuff like conversions.
Thanks a lot.
