2004 toyota trunda will not accelerate
2004 toyota trunda will not accelerate. Truck sat for a month and required a jump start. Truck was fine when in use last till it sat for a month and battery went dead.

computer in limp mode? restricted exhaust, contaminated and/or clogged fuel filter, bad fuel pump, bad fuel pressure regulator...
if you have any codes active or codes stored in memory, look at those things first.
there are many things that can affect your engine. You should probably start off by scanning the computer and see what the engine is doing. (check for any codes first) How does your oxygen sensor look? Are the fuel trims looking normal. if your fuel trims show that they are adding fuel then you need to look at your fuel supply side. (Make sure the coolant temp sensor is working normal)
if the fuel trims look ok, check your air flow and/or vacuum. checking for restricted exhaust.
does it start up normally? does it run in idle normally? do you mean that it takes a very long time to get up to highway speed or it won't get up to highway speed? Do you mean it won't accelerate from a stop or won't accelerate when you speed up from highway speeds? It's not reving too high from the trans slipping right? You're talking about the engine rpm's labor when you step on the throttle right? Does miss or run badly too?
You may need to drive with a fuel pressure gauge on your truck to see what the fuel is doing. Have you done anything to see what the problem might be?
Is your battery good? did you get a new battery? did you charge your battery up? are you getting 13.8 to 14.2 volts to the battery when the engine is running? A low battery can make the computer see all the sensors wrong because it does not have enough voltage to be accurate.

Re: 2004 toyota trunda will not accelerate
re: 2004 trunda problem was 2 blown fuses under hood. Its a result of jumping auto without first letting battery charge. Problem was that high voltage from trundra alt. was not able to be absorbed into the battery due to high resistance of the battery. some batterys that are dead exhibit high resistance when first being charged. This battery happened to be a mono block type {liquid free). Most dead batterys exhibit low resistance when first being charged. So if battery had been charged first before starting this trunda this problem would have not happen.
