Air sensor warning on dash panel.
2004 Lincoln Aviator. Tire air pressure sensor lights up on the dashboard. After tires are aired at same air pressure, where is the reset for the dash warning signal?
Re: Air sensor warning on dash panel.
The reset is uaully done through the driver info center, or the steering wheel switches. Also, if there is not a sensor problem, it will reset in a few miles by itself.

Re: Air sensor warning on dash panel.
Thanks Scotty for the info. I had an idea it was the info center. That was where we usually reset on several cars that we worked on. I did not spot anything on the steering wheel but cruise and music volume. Ron
Re: Air sensor warning on dash panel.
Check the distributor cap. It may well be corroded. Also the rotor in the distributor might be worn. Lot's of reasons for your problem, but it is usually something simple. Good luck, R.
Re: Air sensor warning on dash panel.
@Naveed01, no distributor on 04 Lincoln Aviator. But it is correct that RF interference can cause a problem with the tpms signals. A bad coil in the Coil On Plug (COP) system has been known to cause a TPMS light.
