to increase fuel mileage in today's cars you are looking at external things that you can do. Buying low resistance tires. Keeping the tires aired up. Driving habits. Using the AC less. Keeping the windows rolled up. Coasting more.

The car manufacturer has the computer running every aspect of the fuel consumption. There are no adjustments. Every manufacturer want their vehicle to get the most gas mileage that they can.
