no start duramax GMC 2500

i own a 2002 gmc 2500 duramax alison transmission. runs great. Out of the blue, no start. Get in. go to work, stop get coffee come out no start. Cranks normal and long, no fire. Come back after ride to work fires right up. Months go by then, repeats. New fuel filter, twice. Did it again today, p1093, p700, on code reader. help

Well, the trouble code P1093 may help you out here. It's for the fuel rail pressure sensor and controls the fuel getting to the injectors. If this sensor is faulty it can surely cause a no start condition. The P0700 code is a generic code for the transmission that sets when there is a fault on the engine computer, so no worries there. You might want to get it looked at and/or replace that sensor. That's probably the best place to start.
