SUBARU FORESTER COOLANT QUESTION

A mechanic told my sister he could not check the coolant in her 2018 Subaru because the "system was closed" at the factory. Is this true?

okay, i now was your other post. I am not aware of the closed coolant system on a 2018 subaru.
here is a picture of the cooling system on a 2018 legacy showing the radiator overflow tank #27 and the overflow tank cap #26
