2002 alero no heat
2002 alero no heat
We have replaced thermostat, water pump, flushed system core seems to be fine still no heat
Re: 2002 alero no heat
If engine temperature is getting to proper temp, check to see if both hoses on the heater core are hot. One should be hot, the other cooler. If the same, then no flow throught the core.
Possibly a problem with the heater A/C temp door in the dash.
Also had a weird one on a 4 cylinder where someone put a thermostat in the housing of the upper radiator hose at the cylinder head. They assemed the t-stat should be there, but it does not go there. So, basically they had 2 thermostats in the system.

2004 alero fans not turning on
Fans are not turning on. i have to turn on/off my ac so the fans to turn on my relays are good i just dont know what it is
Re: 2004 alero fans not turning on
How do you know the relays are good? There are several in this system, and they all work through each other.
If you are sure, then you could have a wiring problem to one of the relay terminal connections or a coolant temp sensor not reading correctly.
