I am trying to find how to replace my drivers side mirror with backing plate only. Is there any where I can just get that. I have the housing unit attached.

if the glass is broken but the rest is okay, you could talk to a glass shop about making a new mirror you can glue to the plastic backing plate. You might have to make a template from your plactic bmirror back.

Most junkyards won't sell the mirror in pieces and the dealer only sells the whole thing.

it's going to be tough to find someone that would be willing to sell you a part of a mirror that they can sell the whole thi9ng for more. If they sell you the mirror part the rest of it will have no value. who wants to by just the housing?

I just didnt know if they sold mirror like that or not.
