While driving at hwy speed ( 50-65 mph) with a constant throttle the rpms begin to jump from 1500 - 2000 if i am above 2000 rpm it runs fine. i had a code for crank shaft position sensor that the guy erased and it did not come back but problem remained I have since replaced the sensor and still have the issue. does anyone have an explanation or fix?

you should drive your truck with a scanner on it while it is acting up. Look at the trans section. It could be the transmission is locking and unlocking the torque converter or it could be shifting in and out of overdrive.
