blower motor relay location?
blower motor relay location?
Does anybody know where the blower motor relay can be found on an 03 Chevy Trailblazer? Heard it is on the Evap housing. Where is this evap? Is there a front and rear evap for this vehicle, and if so, where is the location for these items? Thanks.
Re: blower motor relay location?
You probably mean the blower motor resistor, which has an integral relay built into it. It also called a blower motor module as well.
Very easy to find and/or change if needed. It's located under the passenger side of the dash. If you remove the lower kick panel right below the glove box area, you can look up under the dash and you'll see the blower motor and also the blower motor resistor mounted close to each other. There is a large electrical connector going to the resistor, and then the resistor has another two wire connector coming off it and going to the blower motor. It's only two small screws that hold the resistor in place. Disconnect it from the blower motor and install a new one. Easy!

This reply is directed @ ProTech directly! Protech, will you read the first question from war and comment on it, Sir. It is the 03 Trailblazer with the key stuck in the ignition and not able to press the button in on the gear selector unless, I disconnect the main wire that feeds just about everything in the cab compartment, windows, door locks, park lights temp module etc... Please read and give some feed back. Thanks in advance.
