Just bought a 2004 Z71 a couple weeks ago. Has been flawless untill I went 4x4 in the snow. The cruise worked fine before switching to 4high and then not after I was done playing in the snow. I am wondering if there is a connection? What makes the cruise control just stop working in this rig? any suggestions????

you may have set a code that will prevent the cruise from turning on. Scan your vehicle, record the code numbers and then clear the codes. See if your cruise comes back on. (4 wheeling can set ABS codes that will turn off your cruise control)

Or disconnect the battery for a while and that could reset the abs codes (or might not...)
