can you replace a 350 piston inline or do you have to pull the motor

Yes, you can remove the pistons, but you must remove the oil pan and the cylinder heads, which can be a pain in the ass with the engine in the truck.
Then, if there is cylinder wall damage, the engine would have to come out.
So it is kind of up to you which way to go about it.

i have a 2003 chevy suburban , lt autoride, 5.3 vortec v8.. it all of a sudden wont start w out a plug in car charger , jumper .. another vehicle wont work to jump .. all lights and everything work when key goes on but wont start,turnover.. but as soon as i hook the plug in charger up and put it to start , the truck will fire right up and run fine while driving yet when i turn the key off .. the same thing .. i can drive it all day w/ out turning it off w/ out a problem ,, i have checked most all basic ideas and nothing has worked sofar ,,, any ideas :x

How about replacing the battery?!
