Verify that the scanner shows the correct speed VS the speedo. If the speedo and the computer agree on the speed, how do you know you're going slower than what you see on the dash?

Have you changed the size of your tires and wheels?

Have you driven with a GPS and compared your truck's speed to the GPS?
