Power steering service light on

2014 chevy Silverado 1500 ltz power steering service dash light on. Steering wheel is stiff hard to make turns.

I would check your local GM dealership to see if your problem is covered by a technical service bulletin 17276-02-loss of steering assist. it is for chev silverado LD and GMC Sierra LD for the 2014 model year.
