Missfire
Re: Missfire
You should have your car scanned for the misfire. There is a section in a good scanned that measures misfires. It will show you what cylinders are misfiring and how bad the misfires are. Then you can look at what specific things that are affecting those cylinders. Use a meter to get an inductive waveform from the coil as it misfires (if it a misfire problem) Something out of balance could also feel like a misfire at lower speeds that is not as noticeable at higher engine speeds
Is the check engine light on? Are there any codes stored?
there are a lot of things that could cause a low speed misfire. Vacuum leak, dirty injector, worn spark plug, coil problem, coil driver... When you step on the gas pedal to accelerate hard the computer dumps gas to get the engine going. The throttle is open so the vacuum leak isn't that important to the air mix.
