2011 Chevrolet Equinox shutting off when running

Car stalls when running. Does it several times or goes for a while and not at all.

need to know more about what is going on.

Does it stall when slowing down? ...speeding up? ...cruising at a low speed? ...cruising at highway speed? Does is just shut down or does it cough and sputter and then die? Does it happen when the engine temp. is still warming up or after the engine is at normal operating temperature? When it is running is it running normally? does it idle normally?

Have you scanned to see if there are any codes stored in memory?
