Can you tell me the order in which these things happened?
When any car stalls, the lights come on, the power steering goes out.
Did the engine overheat, then the car stalled and then lights and steering went out?

is your condition a "crank no start" or you don't even get "crank"

check your starter relay in the underhood junction block by the right strut tower.

does the relay click when someone puts the key in the start position?

on your vehicle, the key doesn't go directly to the starter relay or starter solenoid. It goes to the computer and the computer turns on the relay for the starter solenoid. So, if the starter relay doesn't click and you can't bypass the relay you will have to check the starter circuit.
