need help to find where shift sensor is at 2003 impala

Have a code p0742 and i need to no where shift solenoid is and what to do.are what i think it could be i just no when I'm going to stop and take off it shits hard in everry gear and I'm at work when i leave it don't do anything it runs good intill i stop again

P0742 is the TCC solenoid.
The shifting problem you are describing sounds like the Pressure Control Solenoid Sticking.

There wasn't a code reading for that c. Pressure

ontroll solenoid the "only code was p0742whdre is thay solenoid at my transmissom said a pressure solenoid. switch bit mine is falt solenoid
