2000 Chevy Malibu Rough Idle

My 2000 Chevy Malibu LS idles rough, more so while in drive stopped at a stoplight or something. Jus had the o2 sensors changed, which is what the diagnostic test said, but still doin it. If in park and rev the engine, itll go up to between 4 and 5 1000rpm... and then no farther and go in between that if i hold the gas down, as if i was pumping it. Any ideas?

Well, we would need more info. first, what was the code you has scanned from the computer. An o2 sensor would not cause a misfire for your rough idle.
Sounds like the RPM not going any higher is a the rev limiter- a normal function.
Misfire at idle depends on the engine size. A bad plug wire, spark plug, carbon on a valve(4 cyl. engine), vacuum leak, etc.
