you should have it scanned. see if it is misfiring, vacuum leak, leaky injector, dirty injector, leaking fuel pressure regulator, O2 sensor stuck, exhaust getting plugged up. Low compression, jumped timing, TPS, CMP sensors...

Because almost everything is computer controlled, you need to see what the computer is reacting to.
