Transmission mount location Pontiac Grand Prix

I have a 2001 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP. I have changed the engine mounts buy I have looked up other mounts for this car and found one that is a transmission mount it is is round. Can someone tell me where it is located on the vehicle.

There is only one transmission mount and it is located on a bracket on the back of the transmission and bolts to the subframe. Please note, by 'back of the transmission' I mean the actual back of the trans, not the back side of the engine bay. Very simple to change.

There are three transmission mounts on your car. If you are referring to the transmission mount all the way on the drivers side, near the wheel well, then to replace that mount, you need to lower the frame on that side a little bit. Keep it supported with a jack. Then you can unbolt the mount.
