| I have a 2001 chevy venture van and the power door locks dont unlock from the driver side switch. I have had the switch replaced, but they still dont work right. Sometimes they work, most of the time they dont. Can you help. MW: Well, if it was not the switch, the most likely problem is a wire splice that corrodes under the passenger front door opening trim plate on the carpet. It is a splice of white wires wrapped in tape in the harness that runs along the floor under the carpet toward the front of the door opening. Just pop off the carpet plate by pulling up on it to gain access to the harness. Best repair is to solder the wires. Hope this helps ! Watch free video here ! |
