Brake problem with my 2003 Chevy Monte Carlo.

question = I have a brake problem with my Monte Carlo. When slowing down while on
the expressway, the car shakes. I had the wheels and tires balanced, but it did not help.
What other things can cause this and how do i fix it.

This is a problem with one or more of the brake rotors is warped.
The feeling you are getting is because a rotor is out of round, or has a hot spot on it.
A rule of thumb is that if the car "pulsates" as you are braking, then the problem is in
the front brakes. If the pedal pulsates of bounces, then that is a sign of a rear brake
rotor problem.
