1996 Lumina ls 3100 V6.
GM Computer codes = p0753
.

Question = i have a 753 code  shift solenoid A  if I read everything right I
have to drop the pan and the solenoids are in the back. Which one is A and
how hard is it to replace?

SF:
The transmission solenoids are located in the control valvebody assembly.
They are held in with 1 retaining clip. To access the valves, you must
remove the side cover of the trans. This requires support fixtures to hold
the engine and trans, while lowering the left front frame, engine/trans.
Assembly. Quite a big job, and not something you would really do in your
garage.

Question = while driving car died , will not start - getting fuel , no spark - believe it is the ignition
module - need location & disassembly info as well as reassembly....any other possible repairs would
be helpful - have checked all breakers & fuses etc. - grounded spark plug out to check for fire
Tech:
Yes, may be the ignition module. Could also be the crank shaft position sensor, wiring to the
crank sensor, or even the ECM.
The ignition module is located under the ignition coils. Just remove the two 5.5 mm bolts that
hold down each coil, then lift the ignition module off.
