rubbing sound under floor board
rubbing sound under floor board
Have a 2004 PT Cruiser Limited Edition and I drove it the other day and I had a rubbing/vibrating feel under floor board that happened at about 45 mph. If I slightly turned my wheel the sound stopped. Picks up speed fine and shifts fine no noises as for u-joint or cvc's. Tires are close to fender walls in front but not rubbing.. Car sits low anyway. Can anyone give me a general idea as to what this could be??
Re: rubbing sound under floor board
you should probably have it raised up on a lift and check to see if everything is ok underneath. Plastic cover may be loose or you may have run over something. while it up in the air have the wheel bearings checked.
