2004 CHEVY SILVERADO GAUGE SEAT HEATER ISSUES

Unread post by mikega » Thu Dec 28, 2017 2:49 pm

So all my gauges are wacked out on my truck, they work intermittently and then the needles will just drop. all or different ones at different times and then some will work again and some wont. Just depends on the day, also when I'm rolling down my driver window, my seat heater turns on. Is this all interconnected? maybe a computer problem? Driving me nuts!!!

gauges and seat heaters shouldn't be on a shared circuit. Instrument cluster should have codes stored if it has been acting up. Scan the instrument cluster.

where are the seat heater controls on your truck? are they on the same panel as your windows? if they are on the same control panel that could be messed up there. If the controls are separate then they should not be shared circuits either. Power seats have door modules in each front door. See if someone has a scanner so you can scan the door module that has the problem.
