No, does not sound like the batteries. This problem sounds like a problem in the
Remote function module / system. There is a Technical Service Bulletin ( TSB )
that will most likely repair this condition. Your car is under warranty, so take it to
any GM dealer. The technician will replace the remote control door lock receiver,
remotes, new remote module antenna, and program the module. The repair is
free and should take about an hour and a half.
