Problem with my 2004 Chevy Malibu

question = how many quarts of transmission fluid
does my 2004 Chevy malibu
hold.
It is leaking & when i remove the cap to check has no dip stick should i be
able to see fluid through the opening when hot. I but 2  quarts in but still
don't see fluid.
Please help me

You never will see fluid in that cap. That is just the fill cap. What you need
to do is have engine running at normal operating temp. On the transmission
housing of the rt. (passenger side) axle area, there is a level plug. It is a
pipe plug. With engine running, if the fluid is just dribbling out, then it is full.
