question = My battery light came on and now the truck will not start






JK:
A battery light coming on is almost always a charge system problem. First,
check all fuses. Then if you have a volt meter, put that on the battery whn
running. You will have to get a jump start. Should have approx. 14 volts
when running. If n ot, then most likely a bad alternator.
Also be sure to check that the battery cables are clean and tight.
