Problem with my 2001 Chevy Malibu

question = 1st off, I'm really sorry I don't have a tip, I just don't know what to do.
My wife owns a 2001 chevy malibu and as of today it just wouldn't start. When
you turn the key it makes the rear,rear,rear noise like it's trying to , but it just
never kicks over. A friend said he thought it was the fuel filter, but I wanted to
ask a professional before spending any money, because I can't afford to spend
money on anything which is not necessary in my financial situation.
KK:
There are many things to cause what sounds like what is happening.
If the engine is cranking over, but not starting, then you could have anything
from no / low fuel pressure, no spark, no fuel injector pulse, a security problem ,
or any number of other things.
Finding out which of the above is missing is the start, then needs diagnosis to
find out why this is happening.
Steering Problem on My 2009 Chevy
I have a clunking noise in the front end and the steering. It happens when i am turning slowly
like in a parking lot. Going forward gear or backwards does not change the sound. When i
am driving and going around a corner or just pulling into my driveway i hear the noise
