question = Oil cooler lines leaking at fittings.
Do I need to replace oil lines or is there another fix.
MW:
Replacement of the hose assemblies is required.
I suppose you could remove and send to a hydraulic hose repair facility, but
the cost savings would be minimal.

Question: I am getting no heat Is there a valve between the water pump and the heater core
so I can check if it is open. I cannot seem to see one.
Answer: There are many things that can cause no heat from the vents.
There is no heater valve on this truck. First be sure the coolant level is
full. Air pockets in the system will cause no heat. Check thermostat
operation. Run engine with the radiator cap off. When it gets hot
enough, you will see flow start through the radiator. If it is always
flowing, then the t-stat is stuck open and the engine will never get to
operating temperature. Or look at temp gauge if truck has one to make
sure the engine is getting hot enough. Feel each of the heater core
hoses under the hood. One should be hot, the other cool on a system
that is working properly. You also need to check that the temperature
door in the dash is switching from cool to hot. If everything above is OK
but the door in the dash is not diverting airflow past the heater core, it
will never get hot. Also could have a plugged heater core. Remove
both hoses and flush with a garden hose on full. Go into one hose so it
comes out the other for a minute or to, then go into the other hose.
