question = idles fine cold. Car wont idle after heated up. Dies but
will start right back up. rpm will bounce up and down and then die. Any
help would be appreciated
KK:
Sounds like a vacuum leak. Common areas of vacuum leaks on the DOHC engine
are the lower intake manifold gaskets, brake booster vacuum hose, PVC valve
hose. Normally a vacuum leak will give a very high idle when cold, then do what you
describe when warmed up.
