1995 Chevy Lumina APV.
3.8 V6 3800.
Dash lights = check engine
Work done to repair this problem = fuel filter changed
GM tech = JK
question = the van starts and idles fine but it dies when i press on the gas pedal,
replaced the fuel filter but it still does it, any ideas why.

There are many things that can cause this. The key to this problem may be with the
check engine light. Anytime a check engine light is on, there a "trouble codes" stored
in the computer. This code(s) gives an indication as to what system is having a
problem.
Any number of sensors, low fuel pressure, wiring problem, etc. can cause the problem
you are having.
Having the computer scanned for codes is the first step.
