showing O2, MassAirflow Sensors and Cat. Conv. Problems
I have been having problems with my 2002 Chevy Blazer for quit awhile now. Last Summer when the weather got hot, I would loose propulsion power. The Blazer would all of a sudden stop running at any speed. I would pull over to the side of the rode, restart it and continue on. The warmer the air was the more problems. Took to shop and they said it was the main computer board. I limped it back home because of the cost of the board. As the weather cooled off, it ran fine.
Then again I have similar problems. This time the rpm's would reeve up but I couldn't get it to go as fast as I know the rpm's would make it. So I took it back to the mechanic. This time they replaced the Mass Flow Sensor. It ran for about a week and again same problem but worse.
I don't remember what exactly they did (receipt in glove box at shop) the second time. But the check engine went off until I was a couple of miles down the road. However, it definitely ran better. Lasted 3 days.
Now, there's no way to go above 35. If there is any type of uphill slop, It would become worse and speed would go down to about 15 while the rpm's are at 3500. Today I found that if I would release the gas (as if driving a manual trans) I could get it to shift gears and speed up. This especially worked on flat or downhill slopes which is how I got up to 35mph. I had tried this before, to no avail.
This time the person working on it (same shop) told me that it's the catalytic converter. I called back to speak with the owner and asked for all codes because the check engine light has never went out since I've been taking it there. The owner said it was the O2 and mass flow sensors as well as the catalytic converter.
#1 - I was also told that the Blazer had 3 catalytic convertors. Is this correct?
#2 - I'm tired of getting strung along. Can you please give me some suggestions as to what is really wrong? I don't want to swap anymore parts. I'm going to sell it and just get it running better.

Brake line from ABS module to first union rusted to failure .
Is there a replacement option that has the flarings and fittings included available ? (hope that makes some sense)

2001 Chevy 4.3 Blazer Trany stays in 2nd & speedo @ zero
The speedometer stays at 0 all the time. When the transmission is in drive it won't come out of 2nd gear. I replaced the VSS on rear of tranny. Same problems. I had a burnt harness near the ECM unit. Rewrapped all wires. Still no speedo or shift. Still searching on the web for answers. Any help would be great.

Chevy 2001 4.3 blazer hose melt
I own a 2001 Chevy blazer, 4.3 liter engine. The diagram I will attach will show the failure part but none seem available. I'm sure you have seen this before. Now the wiring harness has melted half way thru. Thanks for any suggestion on how to fix this.

fuel lines 97 blazer
had fuel pump replaced by the dealer a couple years ago which has been fine since. a few months ago motor went out and replace with identical one from a 98 pickup. since then the fuel lines are making this irritating howl/squeal noise at pretty much the same volume from the tank to the intake using stethoscope type probe. any help would be appreciated. thanks

95 blazer fuel issues
I'm having some issues with a 95 blazer hoping y'all can help. It's been sitting since 07. I began with a crank but no start and started with the fuel pump which was rusted to death and obviously bad. Cleaned tank and new fuel filter but still no start. Checked fuel pressure at manifold which a pretty steady 60#. I cracked open the intake to check the spider injector. I hooked up a noid light and I'm only getting injector pulse for about three seconds. Will only do that once unless you unhook battery. I read that the security could cause a similar situation but after a call to the best local locksmith they say it does not take a chip key so what else could be my problem. Thanks in advance

locking brakes
Ive a 2001 blazer, and the brakes lock up while driving, all calipers/pads are new, as is the abs controler, brakelines, master cylinder. what can the problem be??? After the car sits for a while all work fine, but after a few miles you can feel the pedal get hard and the car stops by itsself.

transmission
On a 1997 Blazer it was stuck in 4 wheel drive, found that the actuator has vacuum to it all the time. I unhooked the vacuum line and plugged it off. it is in 2 wheel drive now, but the 4WD light is still on. Also I think the shift points are too high, it shifts between 2500 and 3000 rpms.

4 wheeldrive problem
I have a 1997 Blazer that will not switch from 4H to 2WD. I push the button and the light flashes in the switch and I can hear a relay clicking in the dash, but it will not change to 2WD

90 Blazer 4x4: broken front wheel stud
I have a 1990 Chevy Blazer Scottsdale Edition. A big name tire shop broke one of the front wheel studs and has the nerve to ask me to pay them to fix it! Anyway, I'm sure this is a repair I can do myself. Can anybody advise where I can view a specific repair video (tried you-tube, no luck) or manual online for this repair or can anybody walk me through it? Thanks

Pro....I got a pitman arm for my 2002 Blazer 4X4, but it doesn't have a zirk fitting. (Would rather have one, obviously...) Do you know if there's a replacement part with one?

1997 Blazer fuel pump pressure may be too low
I got a 1997 blazer 4.3 ltr motor with 20k miles on a new motor and tranny
What should be the fuel pressure when I turn the key on?
It is now showing 60 lbs for 2 seconds while the pump primes. Then it drops to 55 and when
I turn the key to start it , it will jump to 60 and after it starts it drops to 52.
The problem is When I start it in the morning it revs ok but when I take off it acts
like it is not getting enough gas and hesistates. I pump the pedal and the pressure jumps
to 60 and I eventually make it to the stop sign at the end of the street and then when I take
of it runs fine. I think it is not getting enough fuel pressure. I have read in other threads that it
needs 60-66 lbs. Its getting 60 but it acts like that is not enough.
I have replacd the plugs, spyder injectors, and fuel filter. any help would be much appreciated.

Probably a bad fuel pump. You should really do a fuel pressure check. You may have enough volume and pressure to keep the truck running after you prime it withe fuel, but not enough to actually get it started. This is pretty common. If you have a fuel pressure gauge, check pressure with the key on. It should be no less than about 55psi and hold steady. If it drops off or is lower than 50psi, replace the pump.

A/C is blowing hot and cold
I have a 2000 Chev. S-10 Blazer 4.3 that just had lower intake gaskets replaced and now, when the a/c is turned on, air goes hot to cold to hot, not warm, repeatedly. It has climate control and the compressor is staying on, not cycling. A/C was working perfectly before gaskets were replaced. HELP PLEASE!!!!!

2002 chevy blazer, sensor problems
The engine light came on, code said it was oxygen sensor. Replace sensor, light came back on, code came up saying it was same sensor. Replace it again, drove 8 miles , light came back on. Code says it is same sensor!Help, whats going on?

battery bought without permission
I have my 1994 Chevy Blazer up for sale. I also needed to move the vehicle to a location immediately as the time ran out on it for the location it was originally at. An couple who are interested in purchasing the vehicle offered to buy it and have it moved to their house while the contract for payments were going to be drawn up. I did give them the keys ( I have worked with the wife for about 7 years and trust her). In the process of looking it over, they decided not to buy the blazer as it had too many issues for them at the time.
But my problem is it needed a new battery (even though I had driven it over to their house) as they said it wouldn't keep the charge. They purchased the battery without my knowledge or permission. So when they said they were not interested, they dropped the bomb on me about them purchasing the battery.
When I emailed them to ask for my keys back so I can move the vehicle to a different location, they want their $110 that they spent on the battery.
How do I handle this situation?
They did this out of their own idea, without permission from me first.
I do value the friendship, but I feel I have been placed in a very awkward position.
How do I resolve this?

new serpentine belt squealing
I have a 2001 chevy s 10 blazer 4wd .. I got the transmission redone, replaced the serpentine belt, tensioner, u joints, starter, and front brakes. not too long after I got everything fixed, my serpentine belt started squealing. replaced the idler pully and it went away for about 10 minutes but when I started to drive it, it came right back. How do I make it go away?
