Problem with my 1995 Buick Lesabre

question = while doing a three pt turn reverse stopped working. Took the pan
off, also filter. 3 aluminum tubes with one pulled out of the tranny. This
aluminum pipe has a rubber hose connected to it that goes up inside the tranny.
Could this be the reason why there is no reverse? I would be able to figure this
out possibly with a picture of a transmission but cannot find any pictures. Thanks

This pipe/hose is the final drive lube pipe. It supplies transmission oil to the
final drive assembly. If this were out for any period of time, it would cause the
final drive to burn up.
It is not the problem of no reverse.
That is most likely a band problem internal to the trans.
